2013 in the Major Leagues: The Shoot-Outs in the East

The Atlantic coastline is going to showcase a large swath of the talent in the 2013 MLB season. Every year, the phrase "Beast in the East" gets thrown around; 2013 is no different in this regard, but exactly who that phrase refers to could be a little blurry from the sheer amount of domination that will ensue in the Eastern Divisions of the American and National League. We're going to briefly recap the 2012 season for both divisions, look at the offseason thus far, and predict some regular season records. How everything looks right now, don't be surprised if at least 5 teams from the East make it to the playoffs (including the wildcard games). However, which teams make it there may surprise you.
